Shields Associates’ on-site visits are an essential part of our research process. We regularly meet with managers at their offices to explore first-hand their operations and philosophy. On-going portfolio managers are expected to communicate with Shields a minimum of twice per quarter and to participate in review meetings at least twice each year. Our due diligence lets Shields’ clients avoid potential hazards and recognize opportunities.
